The Department of Economic Development is planning to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to offer several grant programs. The Governor has prioritized 10+ grant programs to support businesses, nonprofits, community development, broadband infrastructure, and more.

Your valuable input relative to these program guidelines will assist us with creation, development and deployment in the coming months. As this webpage is designed to provide a one-stop resource for DED's ARPA programs, updates will be continuously added. Please check back often as additional information becomes available.

Latest Developments

Small Business Grant Program Applications Now Closed

Final guidelines for the Small Business Grant Program are posted! DED began accepting applications on November 16, 2022, at 10 a.m. CST.

To date, we have received applications requesting funding greater than the $10 million available for the program. As such, applications will close on November 30 at 12 p.m. Businesses that have not submitted an application by this time can request notification if more funds become available by adding contact information to the Small Business Grant Wait List.

Final guidelines for the Community Revitalization Grant Program are posted! Applications opened on September 28, and will be accepted until November 30To apply, click here.

DED has made revisions to the Community Revitalization Grant Program's final guidelines.


  • The application close date is now 11:59 p.m., Central Time, on November 30, 2022
  • Previously listed, any costs incurred prior to the date of the award to Applicant has now been changed to any costs incurred prior to March 3, 2021, are now listed as ineligible costs
  • Impacted industries have been added as an eligible beneficiary class
